About

The Association

The Sunset Ridge Neighborhood Association was founded in 2006 with the purpose of making our neighborhood a better and safer place to live, work and play. It is the largest neighborhood in the city of Lake Worth Beach.

The boundaries for our association include the area from the east side of I-95 to the west side of Dixie Highway and from the south side of the Palm Beach Canal to the north side of 10th Avenue North, and the section west of I-95 that is east of the Lake Clark Shores entrance, as well as the areas developed surrounding Vernon Heights on the northwest and southwest sides, such as the new Lake Cove subdivision. Although Lake Cove and Vernon Heights are HOA's and separate from our voluntary neighborhood association, the residents who live there are always welcome to attend and participate at our meetings and events.

Our neighborhood contains the baseball fields on the North Side and Sunset Ridge Park right in the middle. Our neighbors are an assorted mix of homeowners and renters. We also have a wide variety of businesses in Sunset Ridge and along Dixie Highway.

At our neighborhood meetings, everyone is welcome. Membership is open to all residents over the age of 18, property owners, renters, and licensed business owners within the neighborhood boundaries.

The 2023 Parrot Cove Home & Garden Tour is scheduled for Sunday, March 12, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. We are still looking for volunteers to help with this fun event. If you are interested, send us an email at parrotcove097@gmail.com.Here's how you can help: -We are currently looking for volunteers who would like to:Act as volunteer hosts in the homes on the tour. This would entail helping the homeowner by welcoming attendees; helping ensure a smooth, safe flow through the home; and pouring wine/serving water. This is where the bulk of our volunteers will be needed, so if you're interested, please sign up.-Photograph the homes for the brochure. The photographer would be responsible for taking a single signature photo of each home, which will appear in black and white in the brochure. We also need a photographer to capture random pictures the day of the event. The same person could do both tasks or they could be split between a couple people.-Be a rover -- help with last minute details the day of the event.-Oversee the catering at the Beach Club the day of the event -- make sure there's plenty of food and drink available for our guests. The Beach Club will provide food and drinks, but it's always good to have someone there to make sure things run smoothly.-Assist with guest check in -- welcome guests, verify their ticket, give them a wrist band and brochure and provide any additional information guests will need to enjoy their day. Here's where we are so far:Eleven homes will be on the tour. They include: historic cottages, mid-century modern, Key West, and contemporary style homes.Super special thanks to the homeowners who have volunteered their homes for the tour.
