On February 4, 2023, City Commission members, James Gammack-Clark, Senior Instructor of Geosciences at FAU and Steven C. Bourassa, Ph.D., H. Jon and Judith M. Runstad Endowed Professor at the University of Washington, will facilitate a public meeting to discuss the upcoming redistricting. During the meeting there will be a presentation from FAU followed by time for questions and comments. The following specific information is provided as to the Saturday, February 4, 2023 Public Meeting.

On October 13 and 15, 2022, City Commission members and James Gammack-Clark, Senior Instructor of Geosciences at FAU and Steven C. Bourassa, Ph.D., H. Jon and Judith M. Runstad Endowed Professor at the University of Washington, facilitated the public meetings respectively and discussed the upcoming redistricting.

At the November 1, 2022 regular city commission meeting, direction was given to FAU to accept map options 2 and 3, to proceed to a final map option presentation and to consider three additional alternative map options for the final map presentation.  Alternative option 5 has been added as well as a modification to the public proposal which did not meet the 10% threshold for population deviation.
